The holiday season is not over yet!  There are many great activities still going on that will help you celebrate the spirit of the holiday and bring in the New Year with style. 

THE HIP HOP NUTCRACKER

Shubert Theatre – Boston, MA (12/21- 12/23) 

Think again about the Nutcracker.  A new twist to this classic is avialble just a short drive to the south of NEw Hampshire.  Travel down to Boston to see this amazing show that will have you re-thinking ballet.  The Hip Hop Nutcracker re-imagines Tchaikovsky’s classic score through imaginative hip hop choreography. A dozen all-star dancers, on-stage DJ and an electric violinist bring the traditional story to life.  It is set in contemporary New York City. Enjoy this magical story with your family and friends and see it in a whole new light.

GIFT OF LIGHTS

New Hampshire Motor Speedway - Loudon, NH

Now until December 31, 2017 (4:30 PM - 9:00 PM)

With over 2 miles of glittering lights,  the Gift of Lights features over 60 holiday scenes, 400 light displays, and two million LED bulbs.  The course winds around the outside of the track's grandstands and includes a portion of the NHMS Road Course.  It also includes a trip through the infield tunnel with the famous Tunnel of Lights before rolling down VIP Street.

A portion of the proceeds go to benefit Speedway Children's Charities.  Additionally, anyone bringing three non-perishable food items – to be donated to the Loudon Food Pantry – will get $2 off per car load. (Can’t be combined with any other offer.)

 

New Year's Eve at the Carriage House

Have you visited the newest restaurant in Bedford NH?   The Carriage House on Route 101 will ring in 2018 in style. This newest location from the Murphy’s Taproom Family of restaurants will feature a gourmet buffet and carving station and dancing to Bedford local Chad LaMarsh band, ring in in the New Year at midnight with a champagne toast. Tickets are $75 for individuals, $150 per couple, and $750 for a table of 10. Be sure to purchase your tickets in advance to avoid a sell-out.
