. Tips for staying Warm in Cold Weather

In this cold weather our emergency heat team is on alert. Thankfully we have not had many issues this year. This is mainly due to the preventative maintenance and weather proofing that they have been working on all year long. Extra insulation has been added to all of our Manchester properties.  Heat saving insulation has been added to water heaters and piping in the most vulnerable locations.  When we save money it helps you out too.  Lowering our costs keeps rents low.

Here are a few things you can do to keep yourself and your neighbors warm in cold weather... We all need to be cautious when the weather drops and look out for our neighbors who are most susceptible to cold weather.

Here are a few tips:

-Check on family, friends and neighbors

-Limit the amount of time spent outside

-Stay dry, as wetness can mess up the insulation of your clothes

-Especially make sure hands, head, ears and feet are dry as well as warm

-Drink warm beverages to help the body stay warm

Stay warm and stay safe.
