The bar is cozy and comfortable with a great selection of cocktails and wines. High ceilings and the historic architecture make this an inviting place to dine. Parking is available along the side of the property.
The Foundry– 50 Commercial Street, Manchester, NH
The industrial look and historic artifacts that make up the decor in this restaurant are the star. The care that was taken to transform this space is evident from the minute you enter the building. The menu is a wonderful blend of steaks, seafood and sandwiches. The bar is cozy and has a great selection of wines and craft beer. When the weather is nice outside- be sure to enjoy the patio with stunning views of the Merrimack river. There is ample parking in the lot outside the building.
Firefly American Bistro– 22 Concord St, Manchester, NH
The atmosphere in this restaurant is very good, especially if you dine in the classic style bar area. Menu items feature classic American fare with delicious twists that are unexpected but delicious. The braised lamb shank is tender and juicy and served with amazing risotto. The monkey bread appetizer is a fan favorite and is delicious with a cold craft cocktail. Parking is available right at the front door.
Mangia– 33 Elm St, Manchester, NH
Bring your own booze to this quaint and small Italian restaurant where the focus is on fresh and tasty italian food cooked to perfection. (A corkage fee applies to any wine you bring in) The interior has a homey feel that makes you wonder if your grandmother will appear out of the back room at any minute. We rate our Italian experience by how good the Chicken Parmigiana tastes and we are happy to report that Chef Angelo nails it every time. Parking is available on the street at this south Elm Street location.
The Airport Diner– 2280 Brown Ave, Manchester, NH
The word to describe this diner is classic. Owned and operated by the Common Man Restaurant Group you will not be disappointed by the decor or the food. Kids love the classic diner atmosphere and menu items are geared to please them and everyone else in your party. Portions are hearty and the prices are fair. That’s a combination that is a sure win for us. Try one of the club sandwiches or a burger. There is plenty of parking right at this location.
