LaBelle Winery: A Southern New Hampshire Winery in Bedford NH is located at 345 Route 101 in Amherst, NH is the place to go for a wonderful experience. It’s Southern New Hampshire’s Winery with a cool vibe and amazing wine and food. Go for the marvelous wine tasting but stay for the delicious cuisine or special winery events that happen year round at this beautiful location. The experience here is always top notch and just a short drive from Manchester.
Vintners with a Passion
Owner, Amy LaBelle has been crafting wines since 2001, first in her Boston apartment then expanding in Walpole, NH at Alyson’s Orchard and in her home in Amherst. A dream was finally realized when the state of the art winery we see today on Rte 101 was opened in 2012.
She and her husband, Cesar Arboleda, have developed a beautiful setting, produce exceptional wines and have a commitment to southern New Hampshire. Their amazing winery combines state of the art wine making techniques with an old world feel in their tasting room, bistro and patio. Their events hall is beautifully appointed with stunning views and a spacious feel. They have also added a second location in Derry New Hampshire that has a beautiful restaurant and tasting room. You can play golf at this amazing location too. In the winter, they are known for the beautiful outdoor light display called LaBelle Lights.
The Wines at LaBelle Winery
When you visit, you can sample a variety of Dry and Semi Dry Wines, Semi Sweet, Sweet and Sparkling Wines. The prices for tastings are about $8 for a sampling of 5 wines. Test which ones are to your liking. You can buy a bottle of your favorite ones. The wine making vats are easy to see and you may even be lucky enough to see Cellar Master Cesar Arboleda at work. On a recent trip, the Red Oak team got an up close look at a dry white wine brewing in a huge stainless steel vat. Exciting to say the least. Enjoy a cheese board with your wine tasting for a real treat.
The Bistro at LaBelle Winery
Food and Wine just seem to go hand in hand and at LaBelle there is a menu to satisfy the “foodie” in you. The chef is passionate about local ingredients and how they pair with the LaBelle wines. On a recent visit the chef prepared a wonderful top sirloin steak and perfectly pan seared scallops. Check out their menu here.
Events at LaBelle Winery
You can attend one of the excellent events that the winery hosts. How about a Sunday afternoon at their Author Series, Yoga in the Winery, Cooking classes or Live Music. Weddings and social events are easy to coordinate with the helpful event staff at LaBelle Winery.
