This is a quaint New England town on New Hampshire’s western border. Walpole is located about 30 minutes North of Keene on Route 9. The town has a beautiful village green, some lovely shops, an outdoor skating rink in the winter and is home to Burdick’s Chocolates. It’s a great place to visit in any season. Walpole abuts the Connecticut River and is a rather historic location in New Hampshire’s long history. Driving to Walpole in the fall is especially beautiful with all the trees changing colors. It’s rural landscaping can be quite breathtaking.
