The spring weather is here and we are beckoned to get out and do Brunch! There are a variety of great restaurants for brunch in the local area. Here are some of our nominees for the best brunch Manchester NH.
Firefly American Bistro and Bar – Best Brunch Manchester NH Favorite
This restaurant is located at 22 Concord Street in Manchester. From 10 to 3 on Sundays, Firefly regulars converge to take advantage of one of the most expansive specialty brunch menus around. Omelets and (lobster) benedicts, soups and salads, sandwiches and steaks–everyone in your party is sure to be satisfied.
But if you ask me, the real highlight of Firefly’s Brunch is the “Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar.” The possibilities are truly endless. I’m talking dozens of fixings including: roasted garlic, green beans, jalapeños, horseradish, raw egg, wasabi, slim jims, and every hot sauce you can think of! Oh and by the way, for $1 each you can toss on some shrimp, bleu cheese stuffed olives, bacon, and my personal favorite… whole crawfish!
Saturday Brunch at the Waterworks Cafe
The historic Waumbec Mill building in the Amoskeag Millyard is home to Waterworks Cafe. This location at 250 Commercial Street is open 6 days a week. Their brunch menu is available all day on Saturdays. They offer a full menu of breakfast favorites including pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, and burritos. Our favorite items are the 3 egg omelets. You can customize your choice with egg whites and your favorite meats, veggies or cheeses. Don’t pass up the sides as the house potatoes are a real treat too.
The Foundry – Sunday Brunch
If “go big or go home” is your motto, then the Foundry’s Grand Brunch Buffet is for you. This restaurant is located at 50 Commercial Street and serves brunch from 9am to 1pm on Sundays. There is plenty of parking here and after brunch you might like to stroll on the Riverwalk trail along the Merrimack River. Do you like Oysters? The buffet here offers freshly shucked oysters, shrimp cocktails and smoked salmon in season. The omelet station is amazing and cooked to order. The best part of the buffet is the dessert station. Here you can choose from a wide variety of sweet and sticky concoctions, house-made donuts and sticky buns.
