El Rincon Zacatecano Taqueria is located at 10 Lake Ave in Manchester. Its location near the Verizon Arena is convenient and easy to walk to from downtown. The neat and colorful interior has lots of fun decorations. Service is prompt and friendly. The guacamole was fantastic and the shrimp tacos were flavored perfectly with fresh shrimp and a side of rice. The place is small and cozy and it is BYOB! This restaurant is reasonably priced and open Tues-Sat from 11am to 9pm and Sun from 11am to 6pm.
Consuelo’s Taqueria is located at 36 Amherst Street just 1 block from Elm Street. This place is always packed at lunch and with good reason. The prices are great and the food authentic Mexican. Portion sizes are good too. Enjoy the tacos or burritos at just around $5 each. Food is freshly prepared right before your eyes. The tortas and tamales are as authentic as you can get. The owners are from Mexico and friendly. I love the Mexican music playing as you eat. They are open Mon-Sat 11am to 8pm and closed on Sunday.
LaCarreta Mexican Restaurant is a short drive from the center city at 545 Hooksett Rd in Manchester’s north end. The owners are passionate about showing you a good time and offering tasty and authentic Mexican dishes. Quality and service is top notch here. The full bar and larger space makes this a great date night choice for Mexican food. With 4 locations in the area from Nashua to Derry you know that they are doing something right. The Fish Fajitas, Chicken Nachos, and beef tacos are great! La Carreta is open Mon-Fri 11am to 10pm and Sat and Sun noon to 11pm. Enjoy a great Mexican Meal in Manchester!
