Are you looking for things to do in Boscawen and Concord, New Hampshire?  Boscawen itself is home to a lot of sites with historic and patriotic value. Hannah Duston became an example of early American Frontier heroism, and a statue in her honor lies in Boscawen. In addition, Boscawen is also home to the state of New Hampshire’s Veteran’s Cemetery, so people from all across the state visit to pay respects to those who served our country.

Enjoy the interactive exhibits and classes galore. The center is a fun way to experience and learn about the world beyond our galaxy.

If you are more into American cuisine, Alan’s of Boscawen is ideally located on North Main Street and is perfect for gatherings of all sizes. There are also a lot of food options in Concord as well. There is no better place for traditional Irish fare in Concord, New Hampshire then the Barley House. If you are looking for more of a pub atmosphere, The Red Blazer in  Concord is a great choice.  When you are finished with your meal, head back to Boscawen to the Summer Freeze to top it off with some Ice Cream.

Concord has a lot of opportunities for great entertainment. That’s another thing to do in Boscawen and Concord, New Hampshire.  The Capitol Center for the Arts is right in the heart in the city and has everything from concerts, comedians, plays and children’s entertainment. With over 1100 seats, there isn’t a bad view in the theater! If you are looking for something less live, the Red River Theater is not your typical theater. You won’t find the latest box office toppers here, instead you will find independent films that the theater runs to “entertain, broaden horizons and deepen appreciation of life for audiences of all ages” as they say in their mission statement. Also to support the arts is Pitchfork Records, which is an independent music store that specializes in vinyl records.

Just a 20 minute drive away from Boscawen is the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, which is the only NASCAR track in New England. Twice a year, NASCAR’s best drivers in the Sprint Cup series head to New Hampshire for a race. However, the speedway is home to other races such as Motorcycle Races, Truck Races and Indy Car Races.
