- Toilets / Sinks / Drains – When You call with a clogged toilet or sink drain issue, we ask that you try fixing the problem on your own first with the help of a plunger. 9 out of 10 times, the use of a plunger will loosen whatever is causing the clog. We recommend that ALL apartment dwellers purchase a plunger.
- Garbage Disposals – Most Garbage Disposal issues are caused when a resident tries to put large food items down the disposal and then it gets clogged. Disposals are built to break up small amounts of food debris, not a dozen eggs worth of shells or entire pieces of fruit, etc. Installing a cheap food screen/strainer can save you a lot of hassle and a visit from maintenance.
- Light Bulb in your Fridge – This is an easy fix. Have one on hand in case the bulb goes out. Simply unscrew the old one and install the new bulb. Grocery stores carry these in the light bulb aisle.
